Minneapolis native Billy McLaughlin astounded audiences with his innovative guitar technique and composing style. In the late 1990s, he began to lose control of his hand and arm and was soon unable to play his own music. Many thought his career was over when he was diagnosed with focal dystonia, an incurable neuro-muscular disorder. Changing Keys will be the pledge drive offering for Minnesota Public Television — Twin Cities Public Television — one of the most active and watched public television stations in the country. Changing Keys and Billy's pledge breaks will start December 1st, and if all goes well, we will have 3 more pledge breaks offerings during 2010. Please pass this on to anyone you may know in Minnesota! The pledge offering will be the film Changing Keys, Billy's Comeback Concert, three of Billy's CDs and tickets to a concert in Minneapolis in April. You can support public television while buying some good music and entertainment!
